Winter Solstice Ceremony

  • Free From Within Hypnotherapy Fareham, England, PO17 6EW United Kingdom (map)

An invitation to come together in community to celebrate Yule and mark the Winter Solstice through a gentle candlelit journey with breathwork, meditation and sharing circle.

The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year and a time to pause, reflect, and honour the turning of the seasons. For thousands of years, people across the UK (and the world) have marked this moment— welcoming the gradual return of light. Ancient sites like Stonehenge were aligned to the solstice sun, and traditions such as Yule celebrated the resilience of life through the darkest months with fires, and ceremony.

In this gathering, we will come together as our ancestors did to embrace the stillness of Winter, reflect on the year that has passed, and set intentions for the season ahead. Through breathwork, meditation, and ritual, we will create space to honour the darkness while welcoming the light.
